A Wireless site survey, (also known as an RF site survey or wireless LAN survey) is the process of planning and designing a wireless network to provide a reliable and required wireless coverage, data rates, network capacity, and roaming capability.

A trained and certified engineer will come on site to determine the precise number and location of RF Access Points/Ports needed to provide network coverage in predetermined areas at your facility. The Access Point/Port locations are documented in a detailed report. This comprehensive report provides detailed information including, existing and suggested system equipment, and cabling information. In addition, the document includes a series of CAD drawings and/or pictures showing a system overview and the coverage pattern for each Access Point/Port on the day of the wireless site survey.  Cable pin-out and Access Point/Port mounting drawings are also included when appropriate.
