Non-Metalic Wall Mounted NEMA Enclosures for Wireless Hardware

NEMA Enclosures for Wireless Hardware

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has established a rating system in the USA for enclosures of electrical equipment such as wireless access points. The NEMA enclosure rating systems defines different levels of protection from weather and other environmental considerations.

For more information on the NEMA Rating System see the designated section of their website, or view the NEMA White Paper below.

BCI offers various options for non-metallic, wall mounted NEMA enclosures for wireless hardware. The enclosures are designed as insulated containers to protect the devices in wet, dusty, and corrosive environments. Enclosures are also used to prevent tampering and theft of wireless hardware. Enclosures with clear covers provide for easy visual inspection of interior components.

BCI also offers Intrinsically Safe Enclosures and Temperature Controlled Enclosures

See the SPARCO document below for an overview of available enclosures.
There is also a Brochure for the SP-NEMA-LR-IOM enclosure.
