Non-Metalic Wall Mounted NEMA Enclosures for Wireless Hardware

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has established a rating system in the USA for enclosures of electrical equipment such as wireless access points. The NEMA enclosure rating systems defines different levels of protection from weather and other environmental considerations.

The enclosures are designed as insulated containers to protect the devices in wet, dusty, and corrosive environments. Enclosures are also used to prevent tampering and theft of wireless hardware. Enclosures with clear covers provide for easy visual inspection of interior components.

Durable and Rugged - The non-metallic engineered thermoplastic for impact resistance. For example, the various enclosures provide an impact resistance of over 900 lb/in. (Fiberglass has an average impact resistance of less than 220 lb/in.)

Flexible - The SPARCO (PCTEL) Enclosures feature a universal mounting bracket that can be adjusted to a variety of different wireless hardware models. Users also have the choice of clear or solid door options. There are a variety of different hinges and mounts for different environments and applications. (Wall Mounting Foot Kit included with each shipment, but Mast Mounting Kits are available also). The Mounting Plate offered will work with Motorola (Symbol), Cisco, and many other brands.
