BCI brought Cognex on as a partner specifically to offer a wider variety of handheld Direct Part Marked (DPM) Readers.  You will only find the DataMan 7500 and 8000 series readers on our website, however Cognex has many other products.

Many Cognex products feature their award winning IDMax code reading software technology and UltraLight illumination.  Cognex products to deliver very high read rates and are ruggedly designed to fit a variety of industrial applications.

The DataMan 7500 Series has 4 options

Standard Focus DPM Readers

2 options for standard width DPM and 2D bar code reading applications.

DataMan Handheld Corded ID Code Readers

Corded readers with USB, RS-232 and PS/2 connection cables
DataMan Handheld Cordless ID Code Readers

DataMan 7550
Cordless readers that communicate via Bluetooth to the Base station which is connected to the PC with USB, RS-232 or PS/2 cables.

Extended Focus DPM Readers 

2 options for DPM and 2D bar code reading applications that also require a wider field of view for reading longer codes

DataMan 7550LR
Cordless readers that communicate via Bluetooth™ to an ‘Intelligent’ Base station.  Base station is connected to the PC with USB, RS-232 or PS/2 cables.
